“Dudley Doodles update”
Reviewed 20th September 2016
I have not looked back with my little rescue dog Dudley. He adores Kate and loves to go to training each week. We have a dog show and qualified for Scruffts semi finals at The Excel. I only took him to build on his experiences which is part of the training kate suggests. He has passed his Bronze Kennel Club Good Citizenship award this year and i am looking to take the silver with him next year. My one dream was to be able to get to a stage where i was confident to let him off the lead and this year i have been successful on more than one occasion. With the training tools and confidence that Kate gives to us each and every week we have built up an amazing partnership and mutual love and trust for each other - he is even being cheeky now which has been lovely to see and makes us all laugh. This was a dog from Romania who knew nothing, didnt really engage apart to get food and survive. He is now a well rounded, loving, friendly dog. He still has a few issues, but nothing that i cant work with and iron out. This is all due to Kate Fassam and Raising Hopes. A really success story and a truely lovely, caring and enthusiatic trainer who trains you as well as the dog. Thank you from Steph and Dudley. Cant wait for our next challenges.

“Everyone needs Kate!”
Reviewed 23rd May 2016
My 2 lab x collies had over time become a handful. They are a mother daughter team & the problems all started after mum had the pups. She got protective over the pup we kept & us as her family. She'd start barking at anyone who came anywhere near us. Heckles up & aggressive barking. Then pup learnt that was the way to do things. Eventually, as pup turned 3, I had to face up to my problem & admit they were out of control. I no longer walked them outside unless it was really early or really late because of their aggressive behaviour. I couldn't let anyone come to the house, if anyone knocked at the door I was in fear of them escaping.
Then I found Kate. To say I was terrified of Kate coming round our house for a 1-2-1 to see us is an understatement. I didn't want anyone judging me or telling me how bad a dog owner I'd allowed myself to become.
I needn't of worried. Kate immediately got to work. She wasn't phased by two 25kg dogs pulling on their leads to get her. Or the crying wreck on the other end of the lead! She didn't judge me either.
Kate has given me the tools in which to deal with my 2 reactive dogs. We now have a life back! I can now walk my dogs anytime of day. And I can even have people round my house!!! We still have a long way to go but with Kates help, we're really getting there. We see Kate each week at Training class now(mainly for the socialisation) & each week I'm truly amazed. My mummy dog makes a beeline for Kate & now rolls over for tummy rubs! A far cry from the greeting Marmite & Toast 1st gave Kate on that very 1st day! If your looking for a dog trainer or help with dog behaviour, you need Kate. Kate is a bit like God for us!

“Raising hopes for dogs - a better quality of life”
Reviewed 22nd May 2016
Thank you to kate fassam who has truely helped me change the life of my rescue street dog. Dudley was really struggling with fear aggression, language barrier and a complete change in his life. Hed been attacked in the shelter and life was tough. I feel in love with him and brought him to england. We struggled to connect and boundaries were complicated. 3 training sessions latter we are inseperable and he cant wait for training. He mets new sets of dogs like humans he doesnt like everyone but is now beautifully behaved. In 8 months with kate's advice support and fun training sessions we ate both learning everyday. Dudley afores her and is so keen to please. Everyone needs a kate in their lives. So a huge thank you. Please sign up for her classes if everyone took lessons there wiuld be less issues with dogs.
