“A Happy Dog's Holiday”
Reviewed 2nd November 2015
We have stayed at Whitecliff Bay twice with our dog and will be going again next year. Not all the accommodation is dog friendly so you need to tell them when you book that you are taking your pet. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We had a very acceptable chalet which sadly was to be removed this October, but we were able to book a similar chalet in a different part of the park for next year. If, like us you prefer a bit of peace and quiet then it's best to go during term time. Early September was lovely and the weather perfect. There are lovely walks along the coast path, which passes through the park. There is also a beach where you can play with your dog. The bars and eateries in the park do not allow dogs inside but almost all the pubs in the I of W are welcoming to dog owners. If you go out in the evening you'll need a torch as street lights are conspicuous by their absence! The roads are narrow and lack pavements accept in the villages.
