“Never disappointed. ”
Reviewed 6th July 2023
We have left our two lurchers Yoda & Patch on many occasions for both day care & over night. Always impressed with the service given, including being able to book them in at short notice. When they are muddy after a run they get a warm shower before collection. We wouldn't go anywhere else, thanks Kerry & the team. Ian & Karen.

“Moody owner of Happy Hounds Hotel”
Reviewed 22nd September 2017
We were met by the owner, Kerry, with a scowl at 8.00 am this morning. We have left our dog at the kennels on many occasions and have been impressed with Vicky and her care of our Spaniel. Unfortunately Kerry is prone to be rather moody and has poor customer relationships. We have previously left the dog's cage in which he sleeps the night in which he feels secure. On this occasion however it was deemed to be non gratis by the owner. We decided to cut short our first day out for many months because we did not want our dog sleeping on the floor when he becomes anxious when not in his cage. On returning to the kennels Kerry explained her abhorrent attitude to staff shortages. Consequently we will not be using the Kennels in the future.

“Great dog care provider”
Reviewed 20th December 2015
We have a 15 week old ladradoodle and were apprehensive of putting him into day care - we needn't have worried, he LOVES it! He returns home happy and all played out.
Great facility would highly recommend.

“Excellent care ”
Reviewed 28th August 2015
I just want to say how happy I am with the care given to Jasper at Happy Hounds. We have used both the kennels and doggy day care for our dog and he is well looked after and thoroughly enjoys himself.

“Care for a blind dog”
Reviewed 28th August 2015
Kerry with her care for all the dogs whether they are there for daycare or boarding get 100% hail rain or shine. We have been putting our dogs in her care for quite a while now. We pull up and the dogs are barking to get out of the car. One of dogs is fully blind now but going out for a run in 16 acres of fields does not phase him at all. The all run together big or small all playing together. I used to worry about them when we was away on holiday but even though we love them we can't wait for the update everyday with photos on Facebook. If you have any worries of putting your dog in kennels then placing them at Happyhounds will alleviate them. Thank you Kerry. Good job. Best wishes Vicky, Millie,Tink and Stan xx

we have used these kennels a few times and cant say how excellent they are the dogs have 16 acres of farmland they are taken for walks on and a paddock that is all fenced in to play in for the rest of the day the owner is a dedicated dog lover its amazing and the best thing which I think is brilliant is they have there own facebook page that the owner does a chapter every day to tell us what our dogs have been upto and puts photo's on as well so you can see how your dog is whilst ur on holiday BRILLIANT our Harvey has just gone in for a few days and he loves it there
