Hampshire's Hounds

About 6 years ago we decided to try and do something about our Yorkshire terrier's behaviour as she was impossible to take on walks anywhere near other dogs. After contacting a few local dog trainers I was eventually referred to Jee. Pippy was assessed. She was actually stressed on walks, something we were shocked about. After a few walks Jee introduced pippy to various teaching dogs and although not perfect, she most definitely improved. Pippy liked all the dogs to stay on the path, getting a little stressed if they dud not, but learned test she dud not have to take this on completely herself. We had a new shih tzu who also helped to police her, it was amazing to watch when you are told what you are watching ! Jee has a lovely way with her and is very emotionally involved with dogs, specialising in aggression. I would highly recommend her for both dog behaviour and training and I know she continually studies and keeps up with new approaches and developments in the dog trying/behaviour world. Although we have since lost Pippy, we continue to attend walks with Jee with our three shih tzus and often refer with Jee on any problems or issues test arise.

I met Jee about 8 years ago when she first helped me with my dog Max who had been labelled 'aggressive'. Jee very quickly identified that Max was being set up to go in and show his muscles by his brother Sam. This was in our first walk which goes to show how great she is at reading dog signals. Working with Jee and her brilliant teaching dogs we turned around the situation to the point Max walks away now when Sam starts trying to get him involved. Don't get me wrong he's not perfect but we know he's not aggressive and is just making his feelings known in the right way now, if he isn't happy when a dog approaches him.
I still go on the social walks with Jee as I really enjoy them and over the years, it's been great to share experiences with other dog owners.
Jee is now a good friend and with her help, I felt confident to introduce a female puppy into the family from her brilliant dog Gaia. Jee watched the puppies when born and matched us with Leia who has slotted into life with her big brothers very well and I know if I have any issues, Jee is always there to help.
I cannot recommend Jee more highly as I've witnessed first hand myself and over the years what an excellent trainer/behaviourist she is and how much she cares to help all the dogs she's been lucky to meet.

I highly recommend Je-an and her pack of trainer dogs. I have 3 dogs and needed help with one of them in particular, (Lexi our terrier,can be reactive). Je-an needed to meet all 3 to correctly assess and see how she could help. ( No extra cost for more than one dog) her partner also filmed our meeting so Je-an could thoroughly review each dog and their behaviour. As it turned out one of our other dogs isn't entirely blameless! (something we hadn't noticed!) Je-an also emails any information she feels may be useful. We have noticed an improvement and we plan to go on social walks for the foreseeable future
