“Simply the best dog trainers!”
Reviewed 2nd April 2017
We can recommend Positive Pet Training without any reservation - Katie and Ian are fantastic trainers, and we are thrilled with the amazing progress that Jess, our German Shepherd puppy has made since starting training with them. We had taken Jess to some training before which was ok, but the transformation in Jess's behaviour, and our skills, since going to Katie and Ian is incredible.

Having completed the initial 6 week life skills training, we are now on the second stage Foundation course and loving it. We look forward to going, and come away from every session really motivated. The training is so very well delivered - it is clear and logical in the way it progresses through each step to enable dogs to learn what is expected, learn self control and make the right decisions.

The training facilities are fantastic, with a spacious purpose built room, and an outside arena. What is really good, is that at each session there is a maximum of 4 dogs / owners, which means that the setting is calm, and there is plenty of opportunity for 1 to 1 feedback and discussion during the session. An extra bonus is the emailed notes of what we have covered with clear reminders of what to practice. The seminars they offer are also really informative – we attended the first aid training and came away feeling really confident on what to do if Jess had a health problem.

Katie and Ian are lovely people. They are really calm, patient, caring, and so encouraging and positive in their feedback during the sessions. As well as being qualified trainers, they bring added value to the training through their unique combination of qualifications and experience with Katie being a qualified vet, and Ian having served on the front line with the Royal Veterinary Corps.

It is by far the best training we have been to. Both our puppy (and us we think!) have made unbelievable progress. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
