“Much cheaper than a visit to the vet!”
Reviewed 19th August 2016
We were prescribed this paste by the vet when our dog had a bout of diarrhoea and it worked wonders. It's a natural paste and the dog loved it. When we found we could buy it online - much cheaper than a visit to the vet - we bought a couple of tubes to add to our doggy medicine cabinet. Sure it's not for times when the dog is displaying other symptoms which should be looked at by a vet but does the job when he's just eaten something slightly off in the park!

“Protexin Paste Helped My Dog's Digestion ”
Reviewed 12th August 2016
After moving house my dog was stressed and had traces of blood in her stools. A friend recommended we try Protexin Paste which is a short treatment of a probiotic paste that is added to the dog's food. The treatment was available without prescription and by mail order so we ordered some (the one specifically for dogs as they seem to do one for horses too).
Within a couple of days of starting the treatment the symptoms had cleared up completely and three months later there has been no recurrence at all so I recommend trying this approach if your dog has similar symptoms. Obviously, if they don't clear up quickly, consult a vet in case it is something more serious. |
