All The Latest News From All Dogs Matter
In their latest blog our friends at All Dogs Matter are seeking homes for Tiny Timmy and a Pocket Rocket and are busy preparing for their next event - a bone chilling Halloween walk and show.
Meet Timmy, a little 12 year old Yorkshire Terrier who was abandoned at a vets surgery. We think that he might have been left there as he is blind and pretty much deaf. His hair was matted, his eyes had thick gunk stuck in them and his nails were overgrown. He is now out on foster and enjoys being outside, making the most of his new garden! He sleeps well through the night and loves his bed! He drinks well and loves his food too. He could live with another calm dog, and with children aged 12 and above. Further details are here.
Here is Rocket, a 7 month old Jack Russell Terrier Cross puppy who has come into our care after his owner had a change of circumstances. Rocket is an affectionate dog who enjoys a belly rub, but is a typical puppy so would benefit from further training and some puppy classes. He has been doing well in his foster home, although he does have a tendency to steal shoes and ‘help’ with some digging in the garden! Rocket is looking for an active owner who has had dogs before, as he loves his walks. He is good with dogs so could live with another dog, but not with cats. He can live with children of 10 and above. We would ideally like to find him a house with direct access to a garden. A rural or semi-rural environment is preferred. Further details are here.
Join us IF YOU DARE at one of London’s oldest haunts, for our bone-chilling charity Halloween Walk and Show!
The walk takes place at the Spaniards Inn in Hampstead, North London. Registration is from 11am and the walk starts at Midday… then it’s back for the Fancy Dress Show! Ghoulish goodies up for grabs, spooky stalls and tricks and treats for all! You can even get a spooky sponsorship form and raise even more funds for our dogs, full details are here. Please note: We all love our dogs and puppies and we know they don’t always appreciate being dressed up in costumes! We always ask owners not to compromise their pet’s happiness and welfare and make sure they are comfortable, calm and happy in their doggy apparel.
We look forward to seeing you there!
