“Lovely summer's evening”
Reviewed 21st June 2015
A lovely place for a summer's meal . Dogs are allowed outside in the covered area which is very sheltered as it's between two conservatories and has heaters. Not sure whether it's an all year round facility but it was nice to sit overlooking the garden and enjoy a nice meal and was a refreshing change from the pubs which are usually the only option for hungry dog owners. The blankets were a nice touch in case it got chilly.
But on to the food. We had a choice of two menus - the brasserie one (slightly cheaper) and the restaurant one. Both had lots of choice and had some interesting dishes. I had the snails and the chickpea Lahori while my husband had the lamb marsala. Both were delicious and the service was friendly and professional. Our dog was offered a bowl of water unasked and there was space for him to sit down without getting in the way. Wished we lived nearer so we could go more often! |
