“Cosy historic lunch”
Reviewed 24th April 2017
The restaurant - Dawson's Bar and Restaurant- is situated within the Castle Hotel in the centre of Conwy. I had phoned ahead to check if dogs were allowed and was a bit worried to be told that we could only eat in the snug as I had visions of dark corner somewhere. I needn't have worried. The snug was a lovely, cosy room in keeping with the rest of this historic place. The food was excellent and a cut above normal pub food. The dog certainly enjoyed a bit of the steak pie. It's a bit more expensive but the food was worth it. Would have given five paws with a dog bowl.
