The Greyhound

This restaurant is owned by Anthony Worrall Thompson and is a lovely place. We chose it as a venue to celebrate my husband's birthday because we could also take the dog. The dog got a very warm welcome - and a water bowl - and so did we. The staff certainly do like dogs. The food and service were both excellent and the dog enjoyed the (small) amounts of beef and lamb he got. The beef was particularly highly recommended . We'd certainly go back and there was a nice garden outside which would be nice in the summer. It was very reasonable for the quality of the food.
