The Rose and Crown is a fabulous old pub, with a lot of history (it was owned by Dick Turpin' s grandparents). Dogs are welcome in the back bar and the garden. There are interesting walks leading to Forty Hall/ Whitewebbs Park that start right next to the pub, or accross the road is Hilly Fields Park. Staff are friendly, food is simple but delicious, we'll definitely be going back!
