“Very dog friendly but menu could be better”
Reviewed 10th January 2015
This pub has a lot going for it. It's in a lovely little village and is a cosy country pub with a lovely big garden. It's very dog friendly with a resident little black dog Tucker - although you're probably best to book as it gets very busy and ask for a corner table to keep your dog out of the way. We've been here several times and it very much depends on the menu as to how much we enjoyed it. Most recently we didn't find much on the menu that took our fancy, we would have liked a few dishes that were more standard rather than ones you'd find in an upmarket central London restaurant. But to be fair, on earlier visits, we 'd really enjoyed what we had. So a good place to go with your dog for a nice meal in pleasant suuoundings but check the menu first.
