“Lovely spot opposite the pier”
Reviewed 18th July 2016
We walked down the seafront to the pier as dogs are allowed on the beach to the west of this and after a refreshing dip (the dog not us) on a hot day we stopped for lunch at the cafe/bar in the White Rock hotel opposite. It has a lovely terrace overlooking the promenade with lots of shade and is a great place for watching the world go by. Dog water bowls and treats available and for the humans a selection of platters, salads and sandwiches. We chose the Fisherman's platter which was delicious and excellent value. Friendly service too. Dogs are also allowed inside on a lead so a good doggy swimming stop.
