“Fabulous, comfortable stay”
Reviewed 2nd December 2014
Grace cottage is a comfortable and homely cottage in a beautiful part of the world. The location is truly stunning,!!
We loved every minute of our stay and experienced all weathers!! It was lovely to stay somewhere that was truly dog friendly , the owners have been very thoughtful about kitting out the cottage (which is perhaps as well seeing as the nearest shop is a good few miles away). The garden is fenced in to allow the dogs to roam freely (though our pointer would have most probably jumped on sight of the sheep or deer). We hope to return sometime with our dogs for fresh air, solitude and spectacular views. |

“a little piece of paradise ”
Reviewed 2nd December 2014
Previous holidays were always spent abroad, until I was given an adorable westie pup as a birthday present then my priorities changed. Unable to bear abandoning heather to kennels my husband suggested holidaying in this country. Sourcing dog friendly accommodation we holidayed at Grace Cottage for first time in January 2014. It was a great success, heather settled in well, able to run around cottage garden safely without fear of her wandering off as it is totally fenced in. The surrounding area has breathtaking scenery and a variety of dog friendly walks. Locals are extremely friendly and welcoming with dogs being allowed. We have since returned a third time to Grace Cottage with a new addition - lily, a rescue pup we adopted from Many Tears Animal Rescue, to which a percentage of booking fee for staying at Grace Cottage goes towards. Both our furbabies make themselves at home as soon as door was unlocked and the stay here appears to be as relaxing for them as it is for us. I would recommend Grace Holiday Cottages to anyone who enjoys peace and tranquillity whilst at same time holidaying with their beloved pets. Our first holiday for 2015 already booked for Grace Holiday Cottage.
