“Great for dogs and humans!”
Reviewed 6th September 2015
Waltham Abbey Gardens is lovely. The grounds of the old Abbey includes lots of old earthworks, with informative signs for the humans. The grave of King Harold is in the grounds, which include a beautiful river, an orchard, a rose garden and lots of green space to run around in. There is a cafe/ visitors' centre, but neither allow dogs. Parking is free all day. Lots of other dogs to make friends with, and the path leads into the Lea Valley Park if you want a longer walk/ something a bit wilder. Loved it!
