They've shelled out close to £16k for one of my boys and i am eternally grateful! His life has been turned around and that wouldn't have been possible without Direct Line.

I have since moved my Car and Home insurance to Direct Line

“Avoid Direct Linew”
Reviewed 7th November 2016
Direct Line Pet Insurance. Do not believe the hype, They will do anything they can to avoid paying!!! My Veterinary Surgeon and the view of the Drug manufacturer have been declined by a veterinary nurse at Direct Line!!! When my vet asked to speak to a vet at DL she was turned down as "we do not employ vets". If you have a policy with them then I suggest you cancel now.

“Caught in a trap”
Reviewed 5th January 2015
After many years of insuring my Greyhound with Direct Line they decided to increase my premium by a third. I was shocked by this excessive rise so I contacted them and was told they could not offer any reduction despite my loyal custom and I would need to look elsewhere knowing full well that getting cover for older dogs with existing illnesses is very difficult so I felt that I was caught in a trap. Be warned that even if the premiums are reasonable to start with when they have got you where they want you its then they hike the prices.
