“Appalling service”
Reviewed 18th October 2019
When I collected Ella the girl picked her up and said sorry she's dusty. I had to bath her as she and her belongings stank of fish. The room where she was kept and the sinks used to clearly give her food looked like they had never been washed. The whole place stank of fish.
I will not ever be using you again.

“Excellent!”
Reviewed 23rd December 2017
I used the animal hotel over summer for my 3 dogs and then again last weekend, they were exceptionally looked after on both occasions and came home smelling amazing after their bath, we have previously used another kennels in Doncaster and our dogs came home rather subdued so we thought trying another kennels would help us work out if they didn't like kennels or just that paticular kennel but after staying at the Animal Hotel they settled straight back in at home and were even excited to go the second time which put our minds at rest. During their stay we received updates and pictures which again put out minds at ease. They came very highly reccomended by friends and family and we are now highly reccomending them! Thank you to all at the animal hotel, we will be back

“The owner is cruella de vil ”
Reviewed 29th April 2017
Young girl that works there is absolutely lovely . Took our dog for one night before his weeks stay to get him used to it and delt with the young lady . Had no concerns at all until I went to leave him for a week . Place was shut and when I managed to get hold of somebody it was the owner Maggie . Absolutely hateful . Rude, sarcastic and couldn't give a dam attitude if I had had an alternative place for my dog I would of turned round and took him home . She is the real life cruella de vil and clearly couldn't care less about people's loved pets . No water was in in kennel and I even messaged when I got home to ensure he'd been given some . We collected him today were she magiced up a surcharge on top of he £10 per night . He drank like he'd never had a drink and he's very subdued not to mention riddled in fleas . Disgusted in two minds wether to report this place

“Awful Place ”
Reviewed 10th October 2016
We left our two dogs at the dog hotel for 4 nights. When we came to collect them last Monday we were hand half a tub of food. As we had measured out their food exactly, the only conclusion could be that they had been under fed. We then noticed that one of the dog bed was absolutely soaked in urine. When we questioned this and the issue about the food, the proprietor seemed unconcerned and said it was nothing to do with her and it was the 'young girl' who worked for her who dealt with that. Our dogs have never wet their beds before so they must have been very distressed. The final straw was when we got home, we checked our dogs medication. We realised that too many tablets were missing which may suggest that our dog was over dosed on his IBD medication. We were understandably very upset. We've used the dog hotel before and although we'd had concerns about them being under fed, we'd thought this was a genuine mistake the first time, but now we realise this couldn't be as it happened again. Our recommendation is, never use this place. The woman who runs it just doesn't seem to care about the animals in her care.

“Find somewhere else”
Reviewed 11th September 2016
Owner unwelcoming and rude. Reception advertised as open 10-6 but when we arrived at 12.30 made sarcastic question asking if we'd had difficulty finding the place which turned out to be because we'd said expected to arrive about 12 when we booked. Proceeded to make further sarcastic and rude comments about the notes we'd jotted down simply listing how much food our dog was usually given. When the young assistant tried to intervene pleasantly, the owner cut her off and tried to prevent her helping. Decided not to leave our dog and certainly will not return. We volunteered to pay for the night we'd booked and she said her minimum charge for any stay is £20 so we paid and left. She wasn't even interested to ask why. Terrible way to run any business. Don't know how she retains any customers.
