“Excellent puppy classes”
Reviewed 5th August 2015
Attended puppy classes at Meopham with Yvette. 6 week course and excellent value for money. Yvette was very knowledgable and approachable. Classes are relaxed and fun (lots of puppy playtime as well as the more serious training) and informative (lots of really useful information for the owners). Great for socialisation, our puppy started the first session sitting under a chair and finished the course a confident and playful pup in the middle of everything. Our pup has now mastered the 6 basic obedience commands and she is only 4 months old. It was also great to meet other owners and share experiences and tips. Yvette was interested in making sure we were getting the most from our sessions and was also able to offer advice on other areas such as where to site the crate and how to leave your puppy alone, to how I could vacuum without our puppy attacking and barking at the vacuum!

“Basics are okay but dog behaviour go elsewhere”
Reviewed 3rd October 2014
If you already have a happy, socialised and friendly dog then Beeching and White are fine for basic training BUT the trainer we used didn't seem to have any idea about dog behaviour. We booked a training session and only one other dog showed up who was also reactive to other dogs like our one. That should have been a red flag to the trainer who proceeded to force these 2 dogs to meet in the hope it would help socialise them. Even a layperson knows that trying to socialise a reactive dog with another reactive dog is just incorrect. Unfortunately my dog got nipped on the face and has made her even more fearful of other dogs. If you don't mind your dog being thrown in at the deep end on day 1 then book them but my advice is avoid these classes if you have a dog reactive dog.
