Good place to stay with your dog
Stayed here for one night as wanted somewhere reasonable that wasn’t a Travelodge. Great little place, our double room on the second floor was nice and spacious and clean and had a balcony and a view over the golf course. The bathroom was a bit dated but it was good value for what we paid. It was nice and quiet too. There’s also a restaurant and bar and a spa on site. Lots of car parking and easy access to Tenterden. Dogs are welcome although ours wasn’t very keen on the resident cat! Would certainly stay here again

Wonderful little cafe
Stopped here on the way to Suffolk. Dedham is a very pretty village (great for a walk) and the Old Bakery Cafe was a perfect find. Dogs are welcome and they were very pleased to see ours. We arrived in time for the breakfast menu and enjoyed a full English and poached egg and avocado on sourdough and the dog gave the sausage the paws up too. Open too for lunch and afternoon tea.

Consistently good
We come back here whenever we're in the area. Indeed, we went there for our fantastic Christmas Day lunch, and they allowed our dog (and several others!) inside. The pub itself has a cosy feel and the outside area is very well done. Dogs are well catered for with water, biscuits and they even cooked a special sausage for him when we asked as he was hungry. The human menu changes regularly, the pizzas are good and the fish dishes are too. A bit out of the bustle of the town which is good.

Friendly pub just across from the beach
Our dog got a warm welcome from both the staff and the locals who were happy to work round him sitting in the middle of the floor. The pub has a great position just across the road from the beautiful Camber Sands beach. There is a fairly small menu but there are also specials and the fish was fresh and well cooked. A great place to eat on a day out at the beach or if staying in the area.

Lovely food
A short drive from Buxton, the food here is great with very big menu and large portions. Dog friendly although it’s a bit of a squeeze with a large-ish dog who wants to sit in the gangway. It was very busy when we went on a Monday lunchtime so probably best to book.

Dog came first!
Gave the dog water and biscuits before us which was fine by us. A large pub with plenty of space and dog friendly tables. Staff were friendly and made a fuss of the dog. We enjoyed our food too and there are great views from the outside and a roof terrace too (not sure if that’s dog friendly). A nice place to go.

Good food and dog friendly
Good Sunday roast and pasta. Dogs welcome although there is a nice garden area which unfortunately was a bit too chilly the day we went. Music a bit loud for my taste and sorry I missed the kebabs which weren’t on the menu until the evening.

Good value for money
This pub has recently become dog friendly and while the online booking system seemed to have lost the fact we were bringing our dog, they quickly sorted out a table for us that accommodated him. We went on a Sunday lunchtime and had the set lunch which was really good value and the food fine, if not the best meal I’ve had.

The staff were friendly and polite and happy to work round our dog. No biscuits or water on offer but good to find a dog friendly eating place in this area.
