A great place for a home cooked lunch - large portions, freshly cooked and reasonably priced. Great steak and Devon Dumpling Ale pie - the dog liked the steak too. Lots of space in the bar area. On the outskirts of Torquay but with a car par and plenty of parking.

Including ones that belong to the pub and ones that seem like they’re local. All welcome. An old pub down near the river in Richmond with a pretty enclosed garden at the back in the summer. Great place for people and dogs alike - good food and friendly staff in a relaxed environment. Quite small inside so probably worth booking at peak times. Was busy even in January.
