Insurance cost over 50% increase in 1 year.
I can't complain about the level of service, but the costs are now £86.50 / mth . My dog is 9 years old and apart from visits to vets regarding tummy upsets is relatively fit and healthy. There have been no major claims, so from a risk point of view my pooch should be considered as low risk. I do feel dog insurers are playing a game. They know, once they have you, you won't leave. It is very difficult to change insurance companies once as your dog gets older. It's not all about money but this is quite a hike in price. For those who are thinking I have a high maintenance pedigree, I have a cross breed.
