Great product
These wipes are cheaper, larger and more moist than other brands we have tried and do a great job in cleaning mud, muck - and worse! - off our dog. They have a pleasant smell too. Highly recommended.

Our dog loves his bed!
What a lovely bed. We were really impressed by the quality and comfort of this bed - as was our Golden Retriver. The price was really reasonable when compared against the top end dog end bed companies and our dog just loves to curl up in it. So much so he's very hard to shift! It washed and tumble dried very well too. One tip - we bought a side larger than recommended (the extra large) which was a good choice.

Lovely place to stay
We had a lovely few days here in Brandy Cottage with our dog. The cottage was well appointed and very cosy and comfortable - a really relaxing break. It had a self contained small garden area which was great for the dog and it's also close to fields (need to keep the dog on the lead because of the sheep) as well as being only a fifteen minute walk along a footpath into Rye. The owner Jane was very helpful and ensured that we got the most out of stay. Looking forward to our next trip already!

Not for our dog
We bought our golden retriever a bag of seaweed popcorn as a treat as we thought it would be a healthy snack but he wasn't impressed - and this is from a dog who eats whatever he can get his paws on. He tried it and then spit it out. The only other thing I've seen him do that with is carrots so maybe he just doesn't do healthy! Not cheap either at £2 a packet which is what we paid.

Fantastic birthday cake
We ordered a cake for our dog's second birthday a couple of weeks in advance. It arrived a couple of days before his birthday beautifully and securely packed. The cake itself was lovely - really nicely decorated with his name and dusted with a coconut topping. It clearly tasted great too. The dog can't get enough of it and the command 'birthday cake' turns him into the world's most obdient dog! Lots to share with his doggie mates too. Well worth the cost for a special treat.

Dog loved it! And so did we...
This was a great find. We went on Boxing Day with our dog. Although it was busy the service was very good and our dog got a water bowl and biscuits. There were lots of - very well behaved - dogs there and it's clear that dogs are very welcome. The food was great too, our pie and lamb shoulder were perfectly cooked and very tasty. The ambience was very cosy and welcoming and I bet that this is a fantastic place for the summer too. The views are to die for and there's lots of dog walks to build up a healthy appetite. Will be back.

They love dogs!
We choose this pub as it was near Windsor Great Park so we were able to take our dog for a walk before Sunday lunch and because it was dog friendly. We had reserved space in the bar but ate outside as the weather was good. The service was very friendly (biscuits for the dog!). The menu, whilst not extensive, had a good choice. The roast and the lamb shank were good and the cheesecake was to die for! The outside space is across the road from the long walk so there is some road noise, but certainly a good bet for a visit with your dog if you're in Windsor

Nice cottage but not particularly dog friendly
The cottage itself is a converted chapel with lovely views of the Isle of Purbeck and Corfe Castle. The location isn't great though halfway up a hill on a busy road with no footpath and blind bends. This meant it was impossible to walk to the local pub and the footpath at the back of the cottage was overgrown and inaccessible. The garden, whilst large and very prettily planted with lavender, roses and clematis, has a slope at one side with a barbed wire fence. We were a bit worried about letting the dog out of his own as a result. The cottage is quite well appointed although the wifi cost extra and wasn't great. Dogs aren't allowed upstairs. Overall we were disappointed given what we'd paid and felt the dog friendly description not particularly apt.

My dog loves Val!
Val's been exercising our dog for nearly nine months now and she's been an absolutely great find. Our dog loves going there, he gets lots of exercise in a range of different parks and comes back tired and happy. It's been great for his socialisation too and mixing with lots of different dogs has really helped him. Val is very flexible and is excellent value for money.

A fantastic food!
We have been feeding Eden to our dog since he was eight weeks old and he loves it ! The contents are of a very high standard without any wheat or fillers and although it isn't cheap you can get away with lower amounts due to the high levels of protein. Only drawback is the need to order online due to the lack of pet shops selling it.

Settled our claim quickly
We chose the lifetime cover and it wasn't long before we had to test the claims process following our dog's argument with a rather large bone - which he lost! A couple of x rays and drips later he was fully recovered thankfully and pet plan paid our claim quickly with only a deduction for the special tins of food we bought for his sensitive tummy. Sure the premiums went up the following year (by about 10%) but at least we've got the comfort of knowing that he's covered should he develop a recurring problem

Agility or training?
We signed our 6 month old puppy up for a session of classes as we hoped that it would improve his obedience and overall behaviour. The sessions were held in a large field which meant there was lots of space but not so great in a cold and muddy December. Whilst the sessions helped with some basic commands there was too much of a mixture with agility for us - we have a large dog so he's not exactly built for speed - and we would have preferred just to concentrate on obedience.

Too many vets
Whilst this practice is good in that it has long opening hours so you don't have to wait long for an appointment, the downside is that you never see the same vet twice which means your dog doesn't build up a rapport with one person - a particular problem if you have a dog like ours who doesn't like being handled. The consulting rooms are also on the small side which can make a big dog feel as if he's being cornered. There also seems to be quite a large turnover which adds to the problem. Having said that most of the vets are friendly and seem to want to do the best for your dog.

A lovely place to visit
It was a pleasant surprise to find gardens where you could take your dog and the fact that these gardens are such a delight is a welcome bonus. There are lots of different parts of the garden - my favourite was the Italian garden which was stunning - and there are two cafés where you can stop for a rest and a drink. We stopped at the Harbour cafe, which was a lovely setting although a wider range of cakes would have been appreciated. The walk took a couple of hours - you could probably spend longer - and is well worth a visit. The shop has a wide selection of plants and goods and they loved the dog!

Very good but not cheap!
We came across these products at dog fest for the first time. What a great selection of really interesting food, some of which I quite fancied myself! We chose a variety including the spinach loaf, the lamb bone and the roast chicken dinner muffin. The dog loved them and I really liked that they only had pure ingredients so I knew what he was eating. They weren't cheap though (I suppose you get what you pay for) so I'd maybe save these for a special treat.

They loved him!
We took our golden retriever here with friends for Saturday lunch. We'd phoned ahead to check it was dog friendly and they reserved us a table in the bar even though they don't usually take reservations in the bar area. The staff were really friendly and brought him water, biscuits and a sausage! We had a very good meal too. The menu had a wide variety of interesting dishes and they were all freshly cooked and tasty. Similarly the desserts. The price was very reasonable too and we'd certainly go back. Slightly tight car park but that's usual I'm afraid. Dog gave it the paws up!
