Fab food, doggy friendly- what's not to like?!
On a boating holiday we moored here and went into the inn for dinner. It's a gorgeous bar/ restaurant. All of our party had something different to eat (and there were some special diets which were no problem at all), and it was all delicious! It was very dog friendly, which surprised me as it feels quite a swish place! We loved it so much we went back for our last night. Would definitely go back - as would Oscar, who had a little holiday romance with Holly, a westie he picked up in the bar!

Garden centre
Nice garden centre with large giftshop. Dogs welcome throughout - mine loved it. Lots of good smells, dog snacks to emotionally blackmail me into buying for him and lots of people making a fuss of him!

Lots of fab walks
Visited for the first time this week and will def be going back! Dogs are allowed in all of the grounds, even the more formal gardens. Free parking, a kids play area, cafes etc. But the enormous grounds and beautiful, peaceful parkland make this a hidden gem. Both my dog and I loved it!

Boating holiday
Took my water hating shitzhu for a week on the Broads and he loved it! Lots of boats that you can take dogs on for a small supplement ( think it was about 35 quid). The Broads has loads of dog friendly pubs and restaurants (I'll review them seperately) and it was lovely to see how much my dog enjoyed himself. He made lots of doggy friends! Will defintely go back to Richardsons. They were really helpful, the boat was spotless, and it was one of the most relaxing holidays ever! Only a couple of points to remember - the website sad you can hire dog jackets. These can't be reserved and when we got there they'd run out - it's first come, first served. I'd definitely recommend taking your own. Secondly, in some areas of the Broads it's best not to let the dog in the water as it can make them quite poorly. But these points aside, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this as a doggy holiday!

dog friendly garden centre
Nice little garden centre, fine to take the dog all round it. There's an area of the cafe that it's ok to sit with the dog though understandably they don't want dogs in the main cafe area. There's a small pet supplies area too.
