“So Very Poor”
Reviewed 30th November 2020
My elderly mother took her dog for its vaccinations, due to Covid 19 restrictions she was kept waiting out in the cold wet and raining weather for an hour, Whilst i can understand the need for social distancing this surgery was taking this to the extreme, my mothers dog was snatched from her taken inside im assuming given a booster injection within the premises then 15 minutes later her dog was returned to her, the card payment machines are in-operable and out of date. Seems to be a total lack of empathy for both pet and owner, First and last time !!!!

“Excellent”

This place as had a lot of bad reviews in the past including one from myself.
came here recently and found the vets have changed and the both times
i have been and have seen two diffrent vets i can honestly say as a animal lover
that i have had excellent service from both vets.
Both vets caring and polite and didnt try to con me in having unnecessary treatment.
so now instead of me trying out diffrent vets this if needed will be my main source.

“usually excellent service”

I have always had cats and all are registered with this surgery. I have never had any problem. The no appointment system is good as you can turn up on three separate slots.
7 days a week.

The costs are very reasonable and far cheaper than vets in other areas.

When I had to have my pet Smudge put to sleep they were extremely sensitive and made a very hard decision easier for me

“AVOID.”
Reviewed 19th May 2015
Took my chihuahua here last year (2014) when she developed a limp in her legs. Upon her first inspection by the vet he straight away diagnosed her with patella luxation. He performed 2 operations, one on each leg. Was advised to have her on constant cage rest for weeks... after a long process she was still getting no better! So we sought out a second opinion (vets4pets) they informed us that x rays should not been taken before and after for both legs. No x rays were ever taken so how could he of diagnosed her? He hadn't done the operations as good as he made it sound he had! The months of cage rest he had advised us to follow actually was the wrong to do.. she should only of been on cage rest for one week! And then a rehabilitation process should of began! Because we followed the vets advise with the cage rest it caused her to lose all muscles on both legs, so we made the decision not to return to the vets again. We purchased some tablets (yumove) and began a rehabilitation process by ourselves and within just 2 weeks she was almost back to normal!!
Where the vets is concerned we shall never use or recommend them again. Stay clear and travel that little bit further to a better vetinary surgery for your dog/pet.
