“Consistently good”
Reviewed 1st October 2019
We come back here whenever we're in the area. Indeed, we went there for our fantastic Christmas Day lunch, and they allowed our dog (and several others!) inside. The pub itself has a cosy feel and the outside area is very well done. Dogs are well catered for with water, biscuits and they even cooked a special sausage for him when we asked as he was hungry. The human menu changes regularly, the pizzas are good and the fish dishes are too. A bit out of the bustle of the town which is good.

“Lovely pub, great food and dog friendly!”
Reviewed 19th July 2016
This pub is just on the outskirts of the main town centre and is well worth taking the time to find. It is dog friendly inside but also has a lovely terrace outside with some shade on a hot day. The food was so good we went twice - would recommend the pizzas but everything was delicious. Water bowl provided for the dog. It's an unusual, unique place and I would highly recommend it.
