Rose has been an absolute godsend stepping in to help me crack my 12week puppy from nipping. Being a newfypoo, she’s big and those nips hurt! Rose came to my home for a 1:1, giving me practical and logical tips. Nothing bizarre but exactly what I needed. A recipe to future proofing my pup’s behaviour. I’ve signed up and am looking forward to her weekly puppy behaviour course.

My Puppy has recently completed Rose’s puppy Life Skills Course in Cuckfield. The nine course was a great start to training for our puppy and helped him (and us) to build the foundations in basic commands and loose lead walking. Rose is a delightful, extremely knowledgeable and patient trainer who clearly deeply cares for the puppies, building them the right skills and supporting owners too. As new dog owners, we found the training hugely informative and have learnt lots of general skills for responsible dog ownership as well as managing our puppy who is extremely excitable. We have absolutely found that the skills we learnt during the course have been used in our everyday life with the puppy. Prior to the training we had a small number of 1-1 sessions where Rose helped us with some general skills and also building some house & sleeping rules as well as managing a small level of separation anxiety. Aside from the course and the 1-1 sessions, Rose has frequently been kindly helpful in answering some further questions I have had and has always provided thorough, informative answers that have helped to build my confidence and has also checked back at a later date to check on progress. Both the course and the private 1-1 sessions were absolutely fabulous and I would thoroughly recommend Rose & companion Dog Solutions to anyone that is thinking using a dog trainer.

Having just completed Rose’s Life Skills Course it is obvious that she chose the title with care. Life Skills is exactly what both you and your dog will gain. A nine week course starts with an introductory session where Rose prepares you for what to expect on the course plus many hints and tips regarding responsible dog ownership in general.
During the following eight weeks she provides step by step instruction with exercises that build week by week. She explains the practical application of each exercise which is so important for using your new found skills in every day life. She checks in with you regularly making sure you are happy with your progress or if you have any concerns.
What might sound like a serious course is delivered in a fun and friendly way. Rose wants her clients to succeed and encourages everyone with kindness and enthusiasm. The result is a set of skills that you can carry forward in every day life and/or use as a foundation for any further activities or sports you may wish to participate in.
I have no hesitation in recommending Companion Dog Solutions to anyone with a new puppy or an older dog and owner needing help. You will not be disappointed working with this talented young instructor.

Rose came along to our house to help us with 3 months old Freddie who needs a lot of help controlling his impulses but also gaining confidence with walking on a lead and various other behavioural things. Rose tackles each issue with gusto and a fantastic energy which is so encouraging and gave me the confidence to know that nothing is impossible! I would highly recommend Rose to help you with your dog, her approach is firm but fair with loads of positive energy thrown in which makes the whole experience productive and fun.

Use Rose for 100% results. Rose was my 3rd dog trainer because the others had failed me when dealing with severe resource guarding issues. My young dog was growling, lunging and air snapping at me approx. 3x a week. I was scared of my own dog and couldn’t believe I had already spent hundreds of pounds on other dog trainers and still my dog guarded items. Since working with Rose, I have an unnegotiable 'drop’ and ‘leave it’ almost immediately. Rose viewed my entire relationship with my dog, not just the resource guarding. Everything she said when it comes to training was common sense and logical. She has completely changed my relationship with my dog for the better. Fantastic dog training classes. Nice size classes to ensure you get lots of individual attention in the class whilst working around other dogs and distractions. Rose is very helpful and friendly and is always happy to help with any other behavioral issues alongside the course. The core framework of the course works well for both family pet dogs and people who are thinking about working their dog.
