“A fine food”
Reviewed 2nd December 2015
I have completed a vast amount of my own research into dog foods, studying such aspects as bad ingredients, protein levels, fat quality, meat sources and vitamins etc. My dogs were on Orijen which is fantastic...however they seemed a little off on it and had itchy feet and loose motions ( even on correct quantity ). During my research Amala came up as a food rated as 4.7 stars,. I liked the ingredients and the quality of the ingredients to. It's not full of rubbish fillers. Also, the protein level is lower than Orijen. The real test is my three dogs ( collie, cocker spaniel and Silky Terrier ). I always soak their food so as not to leave their bodies dehydrated, this food made a lovely gravy when soaked for only five minutes. All three dogs ate their food with great eagerness then checked each other's for leftovers...of which there was none. Time will tell if the itchy feet issue resolves, but so far so good. My only complaint is the see through bags the food come in, leaves it exposed to light and cheapens the look of the food.

“Tasty”
Reviewed 22nd September 2015
We got sent a sample of this, and my dog loves it. He is generally a bit fussy about trying new things, but gets excited by the smell of fish. I am using it as rewards for dog training as the pellets are quite small and good for this. It is a bit pricey compared to his usual food, so keeping it for special treats.
