“Nice enough lunch”
Reviewed 20th March 2022
Met a friend here as it was convenient for her to do a slight detour off the A46 en route to home. Sat in the bar area (which didn't look all that different from the rest of the pub). Ceilings were low (to be fair it is an old building) and there was a loud bang from the door whenever anyone entered or left. The menu is very large with lots of choice including a set lunch menu. We all made different choices and the burger and Hunter's Chicken were fine but I was a bit disappointed in my fish dish especially for what it cost. No particular fuss was made of the dog, although he was offered water when we sat down.
