The Lost Gardens of Heligan

How great that you can take your dog to a garden as wonderful as this. Located just outside St Austell it's a must if you're in the area. There are 200 acres for you and your dog to explore (on a lead) including some formal gardens and a jungle area with the most amazing plants. Some of it is on slightly steep paths but there are great views from the top of the estate looking out to the sea.

Dogs are allowed everywhere apart from inside at the restaurant (there is an outside covered area where you can eat food from the restaurant with your dog) and the jungle rope bridge - too difficult for paws to navigate. We had a great outdoor lunch at the BBQ and there are lots of dog water bowls around the place too.

Highly recommended for a lovely day out with your dog!
