We took Dexter our gorgeous friendly Cockapoo for grooming to the Barlborough Chesterfield branch of The Groom Room, Pets at home, we asked for a trim.
Melissa did his groom, and when we returned, she had completely shaved him all over, including his tail, head, ears. Shaved him so close that all you could see was his pink skin.
He was shaking, shivering, very distressed and had a bandage on his head.
It took a full week for him to recover from this traumatic and cruel ordeal.
When we confronted Melissa, she just said well it says in the consent form you signed we can shave him !!!!
I have reported her and the company to the RSPCA
Do not under any circumstances take your dog there for grooming !!!!
