“Unprofessional”
Reviewed 29th March 2019
I booked Claire to dog sit my 3 dogs in January but my friend offered to have them for me so I cancelled Claire with one month's notice and after contacting her today she informed me that she has cancelled a month's booking in July as my cancellation was short notice! I really don't know if she would have contacted me to let me know this which is highly unprofessional and I would not recommend her to anyone.
My dogs did stay with her a few weeks ago and when they were collected she said I was feeding them a poor quality dry food which I am not. Claire was trying to push raw feeding as my Bichon Frise scratches a lot but this is due to dust mite allergy for which she is under dermatologist and has monthly injections it has nothing to do with food. |

“Wonderful dog sitter/minder”
Reviewed 12th May 2015
Our dog, Pepsi, has really bad separation issues and so can't be left on her own. We have tried dog sitters before and they haven't worked out - with the last ones she came out panicking worse than if she'd been left home alone. I explained this to Claire and instead of the usual "oh she'll be fine" Claire came up with a strategy to ease Pepsi into staying half a day with her over a few weeks. Pepsi was still reluctant at first but it's now a couple of months on and instead of sitting in the car shaking and refusing to get out, she leaps out of the car and runs to Claire's door.
Claire also gave us some good advice about what to do (how to act) when leaving her and picking her up and it's worked wonders. The vicious cycle of Pepsi getting worried/scared making us feel anxious about leaving her and her picking up on this, and that making her worse has ended. It's clear that she really likes Claire - she will walk away from most people if they bend down for a fuss, but Claire gets a kiss! I am over the moon to have found somewhere I can take Pepsi when we can't take her where we are going (out cycling usually) . She always gets a good walk out with Claire's lovely dogs, Dillon and Tai, and comes home ready for a good sleep. |

“Awesome friendly and professional service”
Reviewed 31st March 2015
I cannot praise 'Crazy Dog Lady' highly enough for her dedication to her pet sitting and dog walking business. She has walked my best friend, Len - an intelligent and energetic border collie cross-breed who is a great judge of character and won't trust people unless he feels safe - a couple of times and both times he has loved her company. I would not hesitate to book Claire to look after Lenny for a longer period of time if necessary. In fact she is going to fetch him up to Gretna Green for our wedding next week so that he can be part of the big day. With close family and friends being away with us, we were worried about leaving Lenny at home with no one to check on him and wouldn't want to take him to the kennels for fear he would worry he was being returned there. Claire was more than happy to look after him for the day so that we can relax and enjoy the wedding happy in the knowledge that Len can share the ceremony part of it with us whilst being in safe hands whilst we party the night away . A God-send for dog and owner alike. Thanks Claire! :-)
