“First class care”
Reviewed 7th March 2015
Our dog seems to spend a lot of time at the vet. Most recently he's been treated for a bout of conjunctivitis which proved hard to shift but we are really pleased with the quality of care he's had and the ease with which we were able to get an appointment. The reception staff are really nice and friendly too which means that our dog looks forward to going to the vets for his treat!

“Excellent Veterinary Practice”
Reviewed 7th March 2015
I have had my dogs with Arden House for the last 15 years. I have never been less than 100% satisfied with the way my dogs have been treated. The dogs are always treated gently, their condition discussed and treatment options explained. There is never any sense of being rushed through. My old boy had serious health issues, and thankfully the team at Arden House referred him to the specialists at the Animal Health Trust at Newmarket, which gave him the chance of a longer healthier life. From the lovely Amanda in reception, through the nurses and vets, each member of the team are outstanding. I have always been able to contact the surgery easily, including being able to make contact out of hours in an emergency, which is reassuring when you have a sick animal. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

“Too many vets”
Reviewed 12th August 2014
Whilst this practice is good in that it has long opening hours so you don't have to wait long for an appointment, the downside is that you never see the same vet twice which means your dog doesn't build up a rapport with one person - a particular problem if you have a dog like ours who doesn't like being handled. The consulting rooms are also on the small side which can make a big dog feel as if he's being cornered. There also seems to be quite a large turnover which adds to the problem. Having said that most of the vets are friendly and seem to want to do the best for your dog.
