Budget Vets

As a customer at budget vets for years I never experienced someone so unprofessional an Inappropriate behaviour from staff . after telling staff my dog was Urinating blood several times they still obviously didn’t read the notes . After several phone calls repeating myself telling them the problem I told the vet my dog was pissing blood he then seem to understand me
and a Certain male Veterinarian trying to correct my manner other than get the problem sorted . After telling them I was going to make a complaint having not seen a vet and a waste of a journey a second call came only to find this woman was sticking up for her colleague. Budget vets don’t like to hear you explaining on the phone they rather speak over the top of you also not only to find they put notes in the system to ban all dogs from your house hold so if your son or daughter has a pet they also cancel any outstanding vet appointments even the ones not Associated with yourselves . Knowing other vet practitioners are not taking on . Well done budget vets there’s a pandemic on and 3 working dogs not been able to see a vet . There are some nice Polite receptionist and some nice vets there in my time but I think the problem is swapping and changing there vets .gives them A bad review from me . One more thing the young male director of budget vets couldn’t direct his way through the call properly like I said there rude and know how to speak over you and not

Budget vets on Malpas road Newport wales! I’m absolutely disgusted by what you said to me. They were willing to compromise on my dogs safety just because I had to pay for my dogs surgery before he had it, which was absolutely fine by me. I said to them I have £400 in my current account and that I could pay that now and also added I don’t like keeping a lot of money in there because I was a victim of fraud few years back. , I could whip to the bank to pay the rest which was £60 out of my savings account. The women’s reply over the phone was well we could drop the fluids off the bill which would make it £400 now to pay because we really need payment first before going ahead for the surgery. I said well your willing to compromise on my dogs safety so that you can get payment now if for an extra £60?? . She said yes! I was stunned ???? I said he needs the fluids to raise his heartbeat during surgery as he has a heart condition. She said well I need payment now otherwise we will not do the surgery. I said I’m giving you £400 now and you have my dog. I’m not likely to not pay the rest in 30mins while I rush to the bank. It’s only £60 we’re talking about. She said well that’s our policy I’m afraid sir. So I went and picked my dog up straight away. No chance I’m letting them touch my dog again! If they are so hell bent on getting money this desperately then that shows no compassion for the pets in there care! So the rumours are true. They really are very much money orientated! Very disappointed is a understatement! Be aware people!
